    No I don't think so, Downing and Halpin had just signed contracts for next year.

    Team organisation was (to be polite) not great....

    They simply weren't organised enough to get all the proper registrations etc done on time

    Riders not to blame on any level, all did their best

    Part of the problem is if they were to register in Ireland, UCI regulation states that the majority of riders in the team must belong to the Nation in which the team is registered. Which is why An Post can now register in Ireland this year:

    With Sherlocks departure the majority Irish stake was lost at Polygon without a replacement for 2014. I believe they also tried to register in Kazakhstan or somewhere like that but again, trying to find the majority riders isnt as easy as it sounds as you try to build the best and strongest teams.
