Flaxen flare is identical to causes of causes, dont usually bet in these big handicaps but this appeals to me.

My thoughts exactly, only concern would be ground and causes of causes was off a feather weight and loved the ground. I might have a small investment.

EDIT, Just checked there and not a feather weight but 10-13. Flaxen flare carries 11-2

Guys. Where do I find ten year trends for the LADBROKE ?

Some of you have been good enough to put up links in the past but I don't want to ask for every weekend. I'm sure it's annoying.

Well 2 horses i liked 1 Totalize and i was staring 25/1 in the face on tuesday i think but that is well and truly gone. I also like Willows Saviour who has been price wised but i had a small bet at 12's 5places(just an interest bet tbh). I cant really see any value left in anything i like.
My bet for tomorrow is Ahyaknowyerself in the novice chase in haydock i missed the 11/4 that PP had but i took 9/4 as i thought he would be about 7/4 on form. Really thought he would be challenging for favoritism but there is a point in the difference. Have had a decent bet on him.

City slicker for me in this. Seems to be progressing nicely, has the champ doing the steering, Willie trains and JPs colours. A lot of positives and could take some stopping. My only bet on the day.

    Chatterbox for me.

41/2 length beating of My Tent or Yours on HEAVY really catches the eye.

Horse has perfect profile to take rhis

    Haydock 2:05 - Solix @ 16/1 BOG

Think this horse is another victim of an over zealous handicapper and thus has been run in races that were just far too hot for it. Going by its decent run last time out, I think the horse is finally at a mark where it can be competitive against opposition similar to the standard it has beaten. Soft ground should be no problem and extra few furlongs in distance that it usually runs over should help. I don't see anything outstanding running against it tomorrow, and that seems reflected in the current prices, so hopefully Solix's class should show.

I have a good feeling that the current 16/1 should come in by the time we're at the off.

    Two for me.

Recession Proof ew @ 25/1 : Travelled like a class horse lto before, understandably, failing to get home over the trip. Backed him that day but found it strange that they were running him over 3m despite the fact he came from the flat and had never been further than 2m4 before then. Dropped a few lbs and back over 2m on tomorrow's soft ground should be perfect for him. Young Powell is a fine jockey to have on your side in big handicaps and the strong pace of such a race should play right to his strengths. Was being thought of for this race when rated 134 and a 12/1 poke way back in 2010 with Quinn stating: "When he has conditions to suit i.e. two miles in a fast run race, I think he could be made to look very decent indeed. Something like the Ladbroke Hurdle at Ascot could be right up his alley". While he'll never reach his level pre-injury, I think he's shown he could still retain enough ability to go close in a race like tomorrow's now rated 134 again.

Chatterbox @ 8/1 : As has been said, serious form beating MTOY on soft so wont mid ground at all. Good comeback run when stable wasn't firing. Consistent type and Henderson has won 2 of the last 4 renewals.

Have backed two. The well handicapped Gus McRae who won a hot handicap over this course and distance in the past and ran a very good race last time but didn't stay the trip, traveling well. 9/1

Too a chance on the well handicapped Draqnfromthepast at Lingdiels. Disappointed I missed the 16s which was huge had a small win bet at 9/1

Double header this weekend - Haydock today and Bangor tomorrow. Quite like Safran de Cotte in the 2.05 at Haydock. Won a hurdle at this meeting two years ago and goes well on heavy ground. My worry is the ground will not be soft enough as we haven't had much rain here. Will see how they come home in the early races before I get involved.

Just backed the one horse in this race yesterday Chatterbox at 9/1.

Going slightly against the herd here but I think Dell Arca may turn out to be quite a bit ahead of the handicapper. He's already bagged one of the most competitive handicap's of the season on uk debut. Fast improving 4yr old. He'll do for me.

    Good luck today

Ptit Zig looks a big price top weight and all but will have a shekel on that.

First of my bets beaten in a photo ffs. Three horses in the last week and a half I've had beaten less than a neck

    McCoy says its heavy

Are people really taking odds on AFC to beat Reve De Sivola?

Edit: probably wrong thread for that one!

I think the horse has his ground today, I reckon he is a much better animal in the mud.

2mile on this ground should suit him perfectly i think. Still think Chatterbox could be well handicapped on his mark. Plus the fact Henderson said he missed work this year and would need the run first time out. Barry jumping ship is a worry he usually doest get it wrong when he has a choice of mounts.

Well done the Chris Pea Green lads (if you were e/w).

Check this out for aftertiming with a twist. I rarely bet but I looked at my PP account and had clicked CPG 25 e/w. Of course, I knew the bank was at zero so I then went to Quick deposit. Got as far as 'enter CV2 number' and realised I'd have to find my credit card and couldn't be arsed to tell ya the truth. No harm.

Ptit Zig also ran a blinder off top weight and in that ground.
