Paint problem

I had to apply some Colourtrend Acrylic masonry paint. I hoped that it was dry enough to withstand rain however it has been partially washed off.

Will the remaining paint dry or will I have to remove it & start again?

    Thanks.

Good question. For a start you shouldn't apply exterior masonry paint if the temp is 7 degrees or lower outside, or if its likely to drop below 7 degrees. The water in the emulsion will keep the paint wet at these temperatures and it usually ends up sliding off your walls or the rain comes along and washes it away.
Don't worry, if the paint is dry tomorrow and the temp is 8+ plus you can paint over the area again. If its still a little wet then wipe off what you can and leave it to dry.
If its a large area you're talking about and it doesn't make sense to wipe it down then just leave it until its dried properly.
Bottom line is you don't have to remove it but you will have to paint over it again, keep an eye on the weather forecast.

    How did you get on?
