Early Wrestlemania XXX Predictions/Dream Card

Since the Road to Wrestlemania will soon be truly underway, why not mae some early predictions for the card? Changes can be made after each PPV or at any time. At the moment, I think we may see this:

Wrestlemania XXX Card:

Special Referee: Hulk Hogan - WWEWHC: Randy Orton (c) vs CM Punk
Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar
Daniel Bryan vs Shawn Michaels
John Cena, Chris Jericho & Sheamus vs the Wyatt Family
US Title: Dean Ambrose (c) vs Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns
Street Fight/Grudge Match: Cody Rhodes vs Goldust
WWE Tag Titles: Rey Mysterio & Big Show (c) vs Real Americans vs Usos vs Rybaxel vs Dolph Ziggler & Sin Cara
Intercontinental Title: Big E (c) vs Mark Henry
Diva's Title: AJ Lee (c) vs Tamina

I believe Sheamus should return as a heel so perhaps this match vs the Wyatts represents an opportunity for him to complete the heel turn as well as put the Wyatts over. He can either cost his team the match or turn on them after the match.

Actually forgot about them. I could see that match happening at Elimination Chamber tbh with the Wyatt's going over. I'll add the Wyatts now.

I think its gonna be Taker vs Cena, HHH vs D. Bryan, Ambrose vs Reigns, Punk vs HBK, Big E vs Ryback vs Curtis Axel vs Miz, Orton vs Lesnar

HBK won't be wrestling at this, or any 'Mania. Looking back to Raw, when the crowd were chanting "one more match" and Punk cut them off - if the plan was for HBK to return they would have milked that one more match stuff.

It's still very much up in the air which way they go with the main feuds.

Possible 'Taker opponents are Lesnar and Cena, and I think the rest of the card flows from there. I'm not sure what Cena does if he doesn't face 'Taker so on that basis I'll go:

John Cena v. The Undertaker
Brock Lesnar v. Daniel Bryan
CM Punk v. HHH

I orginally had Punk v Lesnar and Bryan v HHH, but I think the above works much better.

Would love to see Hogan at WM XXX. Think it would be hilarious if Trips and Steph screw Vince out of all his money and try to take over the company, only for Hogan to save the day (and his old buddy Vince) in a Yellow and Red suit, and finally giving Bryan the shot at the title!

Ryback intimidates Hogan in the ring til Goldberg makes the save for the nostalgia pop.
4 way for IC title

Big E vs Sandow vs Henry vs Miz/Fandango/Ziggler or whoever.

Some divas mess.

Sandow & Ziggler deserve better I know but this is WM XXX and a stacked supercard so atleast they got a match even if its on the pre-show

Tag titles Ladder Match: The Brothers Rhodes vs The Real Americans vs Mysterashow vs The Usos

hulk Hogan gets his involvement here as the man trying to show The Real Americans the error of their ways and to get them to turn the backs on Zeb Coulter, leading to a Cesaro face turn as he does his big swing to first Swagger and then to a great reaction Zeb at some point in the match.

could be a real high octane opener too and start the PPV off the right way

Ryback vs Goldberg

The WWE loves their monster vs Monster matches (see Ryback vs Henry last year) and it could give a WM moment, it wouldnt have to be a long match too which would help with such a full card. Plus if they just played up the Goldberg chants (even have one person backstage jokingly refer to Ryback as Goldberg (which would no doubt kick the crowd into gear) and have Ryback react angrily to the chants then it would write itself with a Goldberg return really getting a pop from the crowd.

Orton vs Lesnar

Hell Cena wouldnt even need to turn heel (but as its a dream I wanted to throw that in) instead when he faces Randy at the RR have Lesnar come out and decimate Orton before Cena gets the win. why? lets just say Lesnar takes exception to something Randy and his huge ego says about being better than everyone as he has been recently. Have him name check Lesnar in one of these rants and then boom logical feud and one that will hold till mania because Randy will have his rematch first in the elimination chamber.

IC Title elimination fatal four way Match: Sheamus vs Big E (c)vs Mark Henry vs Jericho

Sheamus being back around the rumble would probably get a push and a place on the mania card, the same could be said for Jericho and Big E and his IC title should be showcased too. Henry could have a friendly rivalry with his current tag partner over the gold or even turn on him cos thats what he does. such a match would give variety to the card too.

Divas title match: AJ Lee vs Steph McMahon

okay this is heel vs heel but with a slight tweak to her character - essentially just dropping Tamina would be almost enough considering how over she is - AJ could be a crazy face and she could easily be the female version of (her man) Punk and have a anti-authority storyline with Steph that would mirror his with HHH>

HHH / SCSA vs Punk

Realism / Dream match for Punk here - obviously Stone Cold vs Punk would be awesome especially for the promos building to it but it seems the wheels are already in motion for the other half of the anti authority storyline (Punk) to face off against the COO at Mania and hopefully this time HHH will actually put Punk over and Nash wont be anywhere in sight.

The Shield vs The Wyatts 6 man Tag

US Title triple threat: Dean Ambrose(c) vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins would be an option if they have already broken up but I would see this 6 man tag giving the card more variety and think Mania could be the perfect place for the implosion of the shield. The problems within the group could be clearly laid out going into the match though allowing for them to be defacto faces in the match with at least 1 of them seemingly about to turn face as a result of the breakup

Bryan vs HBK

It's a dream card so HBK will wrestle again and if he is to do so I can't think of a better opponent than the man he trained and the man who keeps getting screwed by Shawn's best buddy HHH and whom HBK himself screwed in the double cross of the year (Slammy, which should have gone to Mizark). This match would probably steal the show as HBK likes to do at Wrestlemania

WWE World Championship match: The Undertaker vs Cena

Cena turns heel at the RR in his rematch vs Orton (yeah I know it wont happen but its a dream card) and becomes the authorities corporate champion as the bosses realise that ego maniacal Orton telling everyone to kiss his ass isn't best for business and that no matter how much they repeated that Randy was the face of the WWE everyone knows its really Cena. Who can stand up to super Cena especially with the authorities backing at mania, why only one man... The deadman. The streak is on the line and this time you really believe its in jeopardy as not only is it against the face of the WWE supercena himself but he has only just turned heel as part of the biggest storyline in years plus the unified world title is on the line and surely they wont put the strap on part time Taker... or will they!

I thought a Steph AJ feud would make the Divas interesting, start it in the new year with Steph coming out to tge ring a table with something covered infront of her she announces shes back in ring but shes no Diva and announces herself WWE womens champion and unveils the old belt and puts it over her shoulder, cue AJ and feud till mania (AJ not getting a shot at her till then) for either a unification or just the womens ( AJ has dropped of to one of the total Divas crowd on the way to.mania)

Not sure why so many want Taker v Lesnar.

They're not going to let a part time wrestler beat the streak, the match would be far too predictable (like last year, Punk was never winning with that Paul Bearer angle) Although it was a very good match, knowing who wins definitely takes away from the excitement.

Cena v Taker is the way to go, it'd be very believable that Cena could break the streak. Although if he did, there could be riots :pac:

Nah I think people know now that the streak isn't being broken and Cena being such a team player when it comes to putting people over/not needing the streak wouldn't change the sense of the outcome. He wouldn't be a heel either.

With a Brock match there's so much you could do with it but I said that with HHH-Brock and that was as dull a Brock match as you could get. I'd have a lot of faith in Taker being able to pull off a great match with him though. Maybe make it an annoying MMA personality in each corner match with Dana, Chael, Ariel Helwani and Nick Diaz.

I think the streak is unlikely to be broken but it is possible. I think there'd be a lot more doubt than you think if it was Cena v Taker. Taker would be a clear favorite but not a dead cert, like he would be v. anybody else.

It's the only way to propel Cena further than he has already gone. It'd be a brilliant way to turn him heel too but that's obviously very unlikely.

I really don't think Hogan could get down on his knees quick enough to make a count.

Think it's more likely he would be used in a tag-team match, or even better, a three-on-three, where at least he can tag in for 60 seconds and throw a few punches.
