I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, feel free to move it if need be!

I'm looking for a champagne sword/saber or a place that would sell them in Dublin?

    Any help much appreciated! '

You can use anything with a edge. In fact its a blunt sword so I wouldn't go spending a fortune on one.

If you want to get something that looks nice get it online as you will be fleeced in a shop in Dublin or if you want to try it use the back of a bread knife as it will do the same job.

Yeah but a bread knife isn't half as much fun as a great big sword! :D

Look in old shops for anything sword like.
The trick is to slide it along the bottleneck.

    Hi Ksphoto

I know a company called FOX KNIVES make them, you could check them out.

They are also known as a Somellier Sabre, it might help with google searches.

Sorry don't know anywhere in Dublin that sells them. You could try giving a shop like the Corkscrew a shout they might know where you can get one.

Guys the OP might be looking for one a present (time of year and all) so I don't think a bread knife is going to CUT it!;)
