I got a set of SKS Bluemels mudguards for my Trek 1.2 but the bolts that came for mounting to the eyelets are too large. Haven't been able to find much info online.

Anyone know what the spec / thread for the eyelets on the frame is?

They are usually a metric thread, M5x0.8 which means the bolt is 5mm in diameter and the thread pitch is 0.8mm from peak to peak. Standard machine bolts are mild steel but stainless is better for bikes.

Like this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/nukeproof-m5-ti-bolt/rp-prod43467 but obviously you can get them much cheaper
