Took advantage of this yesterday in dundrum! Only went in to lidl to get out of paying for parking and got a nice surprise

4x330ml = 1320ml v's 4x500ml = 2000ml for €5. Frenziskaner wins!

How do people find this compares to the likes of Erdinger, Schofferhofer and Maisel Weiss? Hopefully it's not like Paulaner as I hate the after taste on that. Going to pick some up today anyway

I'd probably prefer it over the 3 you mentioned. Definitely not as carbonated as Paulaner. It's a bit fruity and quite smooth. I find them very filling though.

Perlenbacher caught my eye today. It and a beer I drank in Pisa called Birra Moretti.
No franziskanner in Cavan but I got 4 Leffe for €5.49. Lovely stuff. All gone already though.

Totally different beers. Leffe is 6.6%. Spent 90 on a combination of 48 leffe and 24 franz
