P21 - when to apply

    When can you apply for a P21 for the current year? The OH is certainly owed money back and has received his last paycheque for the year. Can he apply now or does it need to be January?

    I do mine through PAYE anytime and have done 3 this year (change in my income prompted each).

    You can do it anytime at all. If you are not expecting any further changes to stuff that affects your tax. You can do it now.

    for 2013 - you'll need to wait until 2014

    Register for PAYEANYTIME.ie and do it when the option comes available - usually when they have a p35 from your employer

    Option will only come available usually from Mid Jan - sometimes into Feb

    Its available now. I've just done mine (no partying for me tonight). Had a horrendous year so I said I might as well at least do this 'something' right.
