It's a very good price for any cookery book, but beware... there's hardly any pictures of what the cakes should look like. And many of the pictures that are in it are useless... like photos of cooking implements.

You probably need to be a decent enough baker already :(

I have this book a few years and use it all the time. I'm no delia so I'd say most the stuff is foolproof. For £4 it's a great buy.

On the plus side, it's a printed book, so you're spared from Rachel's ludicrously contrived accent.

Thanks op, was ordering college books so got this for the mother. :)
The hummingbird bakery cookbook is 4 pounds which is a steal at that price. The cakes in it are different but very tasty.

If you are ordering from Amazon for Christmas under the Super Saver Delivery it is not guaranteed that you will have the item for Christmas day.
The last date for the Super Saver Delivery to Ireland with a guarantee that you would have the item in Ireland by Christmas day was Friday 13th Dec.

If you want to pay for Priority Delivery the last date for ordering to Ireland is Thur 19 Dec.
If you go into Help on the amazon home page and look under International Delivery Options & Rates you can find the cost of sending items this way.
    This is expensive.

I'm willing to take that risk, the stuff I ordered from amazon last week wasn't due to arrive until yesterday, but arrived on Thursday.
