    Can you recommend anything?
    Thanks

I'm going to start off by being a little liberal with your 'somewhere around' comment :oand suggest the Panasonic TXL50ET60 which is £949.95 / €1169.99 http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/panasonic/viera-txl50et60b/pana-txl50et60b - I know it busts the budget but its great! (delivery is £19.95 / €24.99 on this model)

If you are open to Plasma then the TXP50ST50 is actually even better than the 50ET60 - the motion control and quality of the black levels is just astounding! - its £999.95 but we can actually do it at just €1099.99 with delivery at £19.95 / €24.99 - its a stunning TV for this money.

If you want to keep strictly to the €1000 budget than we can still give you a cracking TV with the Sony KDL50W656 at just £699.95 / €869.99.

Send us a PM or a mail to sales@richersounds.ie with your contact details if you would like to order any of these or of course if we can assist in any way,

    Thanks again,

    madamab,

not sure which TV you are referring to on the PC site - I've just looked now and of the TV's above they don't list either the 50ST60 at all ( to be fair I wouldnt expect them to stock or list it as it's a pretty specialist piece of kit!) On the other sets they list the:

Sony KDL50W656 at €899 - our price as above is €869

Panasonic TXL50ET60 at €1199 - our price as above is €1169

To be fair to PC we think that they are pretty much the best of the TV retailers in the ROI, sepecially at the budget end - but they don't do any of the above TV's at €599 and the OP was looking for a smartie at approx €1000 which is where we pitched our offering,

Thanks again for the post and if you have an issue with us feel free to PM me personally,

    All the best,

    John Mc & Crew
