Hi - Ive a question the Shannon Airport, Ryan Air, free flights they put on for Christmas this week that circled the city.

Thought you guys would be the best to ask.

How would I find the flight-plan for it on that great flight-plan website we had for the Airshow over dublin... wondering where the planes actually went.

And just out of curiosity aprox. how much fuel would 1 plane need on such a short trip like that.

    just curious - Cheers :)

Each plane full with no bags, 40 minute flight and weather depending probably between 1.5 and 2.0 tonne (1500kg - 2000kg)

The fuel burn is probably in that region alright. The plane would need to takeoff with around 4 tonnes minimum though in case of diversion etc. you would usually plan to land with a bare minimum of 2 tonnes of fuel. It's usually closer to 3 though. On a 737 that is anyway.

Minimum land policy on the Ryanair 738 is around 2.4 tonne
