    I'm an average rhythm guitarist/singer looking for a bassist/drummer/lead guitarist/any other musician to start a reasonably relaxed and casual band in Dublin. I'm basically looking for people who are interested in playing some good music and having a bit of fun.

    I had been looking at these ads for a while for a band that wasn't too serious or didn't have massively talented musicians in it and couldn't find one, so I decided to put one up myself.

    I'm a 21 year old student. Ideally looking for people in the 18-25 age range, but will consider anyone with similar interests - male or female. All talent levels welcome. I'm not fantastic on the guitar so don't worry if you're a beginner. Would be very nice to meet up and have a jam over Christmas.

    Influences include; U2, Oasis, The Smiths, The Jam, The Clash, The Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Jake Bugg, The Doors, and Motown. Not a fan of metal, American punk-rock stuff, or The Script style "soft rock" and I wouldn't really be interested in playing it.

    I'd ideally like to start with a weekly practice session doing covers working towards writing original material and gigging.

    Would love to hear from anyone who's interested!
