At what age will life stop you lifting heavy?

So i got thinking today, If your a strength athlete or someone training to get stronger what age is too old, when does your body say no more progression? and you have to stop squatting / pulling over 200 or whatever it is. Obviously presuming the person is injury free and training smart.

You dont see many sixty year olds squatting or deadlifting heavy

A lot of guys here hit some pretty big numbers, when do you think you'll stop lifting heavy.

I'm in my mid 20s, all going well I'm sure i could potentially get stronger for another 20 years, i hope!

My last client today was 72yrs young - deadlifts, ring rows, press ups, goblet squats, scap work and a ton of mobility work

Heavy is a relative term and thing basic strength and fitness combined with excellent mobility becomes more important as one gets beyond say 50yrs young

    Exactly.
    It's all relative.
What's light for me at 30, will be heavy at 60.
I'd hope to never stop lifting/moving well
