When will I receive my new learner permit?

    hi all,

    I finished applying for my first learner permit today and got a "NDLS customer receipt" with a driver number. I am wondering that how long will it take me to receive the learner permit by post and may I use this receipt as a temporary permit before that? thanks.

    Good question, anything from 8 working days to 5+ weeks (How long I am waiting)

    And in answer to your second question the general consensus is no, you should wait till you get the plastic card
