Extreme budget PC with upgrade options

Ok here is what I'm looking at

    Item|Price
    ASRock H81M, Sockel 1150, mATX|€45.32
    Intel Pentium G3220 Box, LGA1150|€47.98
    SanDisk SSD 128GB S-ATA 600|€69.89
    8GB G.Skill PC3-10667U CL9|€59.48
Corsair CX Series Modular CX430M, 430W|€42.02
    BitFenix Merc Alpha|€31.66
    Shipping|€18.99
    Total|€315.34

The main question is, where could more cash be most useful?
I could move up to the CX500m PSU for +€10 (giving 456w on 12v rail as apposed to the 384w the 400m will do). If I end up dropping in a GPU it will probably be a 270 or 270X but as long as the onboard graphics are as good as my 7300 LE, then it will be fine for the moment.
I am happy enough with the CPU (I think). I may have the option to get a heavily reduced 4770k in 2014 so that made my decision to go with a 1150 mobo. Now I diced with getting a z87 board now because of this but decided that I would prefer to wait and see what my cash situation is like closer to the time. I may be able to sell the h81 also to off set some of the cost.
I could up the ssd by +€5 to the M500 or by +€13 to a Samsung Evo? Worth it?
Is there an AMD mobo/cpu combo that will deliver better on board graphics or processing power?
Its tricky because this PC needs to be ready to use from the get go but also allow for the possibility of serious upgrades down the line.
Use will be old games (mount and blade) and browsing.
monitor is 1440 x 900 so how much of a difference would I see upgrading to a 1080p monitor?
All thoughts and help are as always much appreciated

Seems fine for what you need, it will definitely play quite older games like mount and blade no bother, probably even @1080p.

The FX6300 is a very decent gaming CPU if you were getting the GPU immediately I'd suggest that, however since you aren't and AM3+ CPUs don't have an iGPU (unless you get a low end mATX 760G board with a really weak motherboard integrated GPU, which mightn't even play things like M&B at all), its not really an option.

Your only other real choice is the FM2+ platform, and if Kaveri CPUs were out I would say maybe, but I think 1150 is a better option especially as you are considering adding a GPU later and may have access to a cutprice i7 next year.

PSU should be fine for an i7-4770k and something like a r9 270 even accounting for overclocking. Only if you were paring a 4770k up with something like an r9 290x and overclocking the bejaysus out of both of them would bumping up from 430W for a bit of extra headroom.

So really I wouldn't change anything except maybe get a budget USB 3 case instead, the EVO, and if you thing the i7 might come through by all means add a z77 board.

Excuse my ignorance, but is the graphics on this board not powered by the gpu in Core i chips?

The cpu you chose doesn't come with a gpu, am I missing something?

    G3220 has Intel HD Graphics.

What about Windows? If you get an oem copy you may not be able to transfer if you swap to z87 mobo down the line

Interesting. what would I need to get then? I would like to be able to take my copy of windows with me for ever more tbh
I dont want one that is going to be tied to the mobo. Best place/ price to buy windows? preferable 8 but i see pcfritz still doing 7 for €35. Would this not be transferable?
    Thanks again all.

The changed the licensing a bit for 8, you can move a bring a system builder version of Windows 8 to a new PC, once you remove it from the old one first. You could previously only do this for a retail copy of Window 7.

    Q. What happens if I build a PC with a Personal Use License, then later decide to sell it?

    A. You may transfer the software to another computer that belongs to you. You may also transfer the software (together with the license) to a computer owned by someone else if a) you are the first licensed user of the software and b) the new user agrees to the terms of this agreement. To make that transfer, you must transfer the original media, the certificate of authenticity, the product key and the proof of purchase directly to that other person, without retaining any copies of the software. You may use the backup copy we allow you to make or the media that the software came on to transfer the software. Anytime you transfer the software to a new computer, you must remove the software from the prior computer. You may not transfer the software to share licenses between computers. You may transfer Get Genuine Windows software, Pro Pack or Media Center Pack software only together with the licensed computer.
