Suit hire for men

    Hi all

Just wondering if people had any suggestions as regards suit hire for groom, best man, father of the bride etc.

They live scattered around the country and would find it awkward to make it to Dublin (where we live) to try on

When my sister got married, it was v convenient as herself and her other half picked the outfit out at Black Tie. All the lads went to the Black Tie shop nearest them to get measured and picked it up there then as well so it was handy

Since they've closed, I was just wondering if anybody knew if there was another shop that had units nationally that offer a similar service?

    Thanks!

Debenhams is the only one the springs to mind- heard they rent suits too.
I had people from around the country too so I booked my suit in a place in Dublin, and next time they were in Dublin they dropped in and got fitted. Dont have do it all at once, worked for me

All suit hire places have tailors, at least the good ones do.

While its always preferable, sometimes, its not possible to get fitted beforehand so get the bridal party (men only obviously) to call the tailor, When they come to get them the tailor can...whats the word....."tailor" the suits and make any alterations.

+1 for Debenhams. Our groomsmen were dotted around the country and the suit hire in Debenhams have a system in place where the guys could pick up their suits from their nearest store. In the end, two picked up from a store in Kildare and the other two from Dublin. It really took the stress out of it for us.

Plus they've a great selection and they were better value than other places we'd looked.
