What is the problem with this channel. Its obsession with the past is incredible. Can they really not just get on with life today and stop every single day discussing the past. We know what happened. But they really need to move on. The channel is so depressing and no wonder people up north are still obsessed with the past when they have to continue to watch this trash.

I find that if I press the button on the remote the TV switches over from a boring channel to a more fun channel.

I remember years ago, when we just had the six stations and a programme would be starting on BBC1 and the sexy voice over lady would say something like:

"Clint Eastwood is starring in Escape from Alactraz later tonight, but first we have.."

You'd get all excited and the after the programme you'd get some Hearts & Minds crap and realise that it was the rest of the feckers that were getting the movie.

BBC1 N1 is so depressing. The Nordie accent, the whole downtrodden monotonous tone of voice, the cringey documentaries..the whole thing, even down to the news, it's just depressing.

I only watch BBC London.
I feel the exact same about UTV which is why I only watch ITV1London.
So there.

I feel out of all the matters which concern the general populace if United Kingdom at the moment, this is the matter which should be given some greater attention, how the ordinary people are not protesting in anger at the injustice of us obtaining their BBC without paying a penny to the licence is incredible.
