Evan's Cycles

Anyone have any dealings with evans cycles online, thinking about ordering a bike from them and having it delivered via parcelmotel to save on postage costs. Little unsure though as the bike is pretty expensive and I've never used evans before. Should I try and get extra insurance or would it be alright as it is. Are they pretty reliable?

Very good company and very good customer service. I have bought quite a few bits from them and never had a problem.

Used them a few times and they were good. However, a couple of times delivery was slow. It took a couple of weeks and some correspondence on once occasion before a tyre turned up.

Same experience with delivery on a couple of occasions. Wouldn't really put me off them as I'd little doubt it would come but weeks in this day and age is taking the piss.

While it is good to support local and all that I find that Evans have a far greater range available online and in some cases they offer much better prices.

Technically all Bike Shops carry a 'similar' stock to Evans.

As already stated there customer service is excellent and having used them a bit over the years I've never had postage issues.

That's not true at all, they have a very limited range of bikes in comparison. As noted all bike shops carry 'similar stock' if you mean bike stuff.

Evans are great to deal with; quick delivery and great customer service if you need to return anything or need any other support.

Was thinking about one of the pinarello's, there seems to be quite abit of savings on some of them, up to 25 percent.

Would it be safe enough delivering one of them through the post, I mean it's an expensive bike and I'd be slightly worried about it not arriving.

Seems though pretty much all of you had a good experience with them so I'm feeling abit more confident about doing it now, thanks guys

I got a bike delivered from them, no issues at all with the delivery.
