I've just removed a blown element from my fan oven, but I didn't note which of the wires were left and right. I have the replacement element but I'm afraid I'll blow it or the oven if a get the wires wrong. how can I find this out or is it time to call the repair man?

it doesn't matter just so long as the earth (if there) is fitted to the mounting plate.

    Was there 2 wires or 3 ?

Hi Billy it's got 2 connections - no earth.
