Has many had the inspection yet? Was it as severe/ridiculous as portrayed in The Journal?

Nope starting in jan, still a bit of ironing out to do on final details.its pretty intense ,takes about 3 hours and a lot of duplication in it with cross compliance ,blue book inspection etc which is disappointing.no price incentive either and even if u fail badly ur milk will still collected in the same tanker as your neighbour who may be full complient..it is needed I think as all our competitors have something simillar in place and markets and customers require food of the highest quality and if we don't proceed they may look elsewhere

we've been doing the beef equivalent here for years and wouldn't be anymore than an hour and a half at it but from reading the article the dairy audit seems alot more intense. There's probably a lot of overlap between the two so might prove awfully efficient/handy to do both the same day.

Only just joined the beef one and the inspecter inferred that people who are in the beef already are likely to be done last but it also will depend on you date finishing the 18 months
