Looking to replace my drop handlebars for some straight bars, so looking for:

    - Straight or maybe a riser or even moustache shaped bar with 31.8 clamp area.

    - Black grips. Are the ones with clamps preferred? Never had grips before, just tape.

    - Brake levers, v-brake compatible, something along the lines of Avid Fr 5 or Avid Speed Dial 7?

    Everything preferably in black.

    Thanks! :)

I have a brand new FSA riser bar and a set of brand new halfords lock on grips, I'll look them out later and stick some pics up.

    I've a FSA carbon flat bar. 31.8 clamp, 600mm wide , 6 degree sweep. K Force Light.
These came with lightweight solid Kona black foam grips and I've a set of Black Shimano Levers somewhere or else some Grey Avid's knocking around both V-Brake/Disc compatable.
Clamp on Grips are usual on MTB, they're easy to remove and sure to stay put once clamped in place. The usual rubber grips go on and off easily with a spray of Hairspray and an old knitting needle is handy for getting them off.

The Bar has 3 little scrapes, just past the clearcoat and into the carbon.
I'm based in Wexford, can post if necessary.
Can do the lot for €40 posted.

    Thanks for the replies.

At the moment I think I would prefer a aluminium bar don't think my beater deserves a carbon one. I would be interested in the levers, could you post a pic of both? What model are the avids?

Thanks for the pictures guys. Will give it a couple days see if anyone in around Dublin has similar stuff and i'll get back to you.

@JonDoe: Like the Avid levers, just want them in black, so will wait. How much would you want for them anyways?
