    Hello,
I was placed on to a Community employment scheme and a was sent for an interview for a part time job. its 19.5 hours per week.

we have been means tested and are both in receipt of 66 euro per week plus my husband gets a supplementary welfare allowance per week.

If I get this job, am I correct in saying I will be on the minimum of 208 euro per week and will this be means tested?
If my hubby loses his payments, we will be worse off...

Do you mean you have an interview for a place on a CE Scheme. CE is 19.5hrs a week

I think it depends why you are only getting a payment of €66 per week each, if it is because you have means ie assets or another income, then you his payment may reduce.

I don't understand how you both get 66 and supplementary allowance, this may mean a different way of working out your payment.

Without means you would get €208 per week and he would get €124, so €332.

yes, my partner is self employed so his income is assessed and I had been trying to work for myself but it didn't work out.

Does anyone know if the position is offered, can it be turned down or will that affect JA payment. There are other jobs on the scheme Id like to apply for...
