Parcelforce Prepaid Return from Ireland

    Hi,

I bought an item that was only available in the UK. I got the item delivered via Parcel Motel.
Unfortunately I had to return it. I was sent a replacement with a prepaid Parcelforce return bag.
When I try to return it through Parcel Motel, they want to charge me the full carriage. I cannot return it through An Post as they want to do the same.

Has anyone ever had to return an item via a Parcelforce prepaid bag?
How did you get sent from Ireland?

I look forward to some replies.

For those in a similar position.

I gave up trying to find someone to handle the free return.
Instead I used my Parcelmotel account to pay and send the item back to the UK. It was approximately €15 for a medium sized box.

Time was important to me. There possibly is a solution but the time I was spending looking for it would have added up to more than the cost to send it back.

Login, enter details, pay, print label, attach to box and drop off at your local Parcelmotel.

If you do not have an account and intend setting up one I would be grateful if you PM me so I can get the Kudos as a referrer. (one free delivery).
I don't work for them just use the service allot to get cheaper delivery from the UK.
