    rather poor screen, isn't there a code for further 20% off o2 internet shop ( http://o2priority.ie/moments/Offer/Details/6103 )?
plus there is €12.00 cashback from fatcheese http://www.fatcheese.ie/cashback/o2-ireland/ making it something around €12

Every Alcatel phone I have ever seen or had any contact with has been a piece of crap.

I wouldn't bother with this to be honest, they're really unreliable and the quality is rubbish

This phone may have a front camera, But I doubt you'll be able to see anything through it. I wouldn't even be confident that it would be able to run skype very well.

My brother in law had a different version of the One Touch and it kept randomly breaking down. It was replaced 3 times and every phone developed a different problem.

    It's not worth it

Arrived today, tried skype on it, and it worked half-ok - front camera's not very sensitive to light, and had to stand close enough to a light bulb to get my face to show up properly. The picture from the other end was coming through fine. You get what you pay for I guess, but it's still not bad for 30 quid. Otherwise fingers crossed about the reliability and how much mileage it gives.

I had a look on tesco mobile's website today and they've only got the lower spec T'pop for 40 quid, so I don't know if it was that one which had been 30 quid or this S'pop.

Much better deal here if you like Alcatel phone (BUT NO FRONT CAMERA IF YOU NEED ONE):

    http://shop.vodafone.ie/shop/phones-and-plans/phones/pay-as-you-go/phone-details/vodafone-smart-3-black

Vodafone Smart 3 (Alcatel 975). Spec here:
    http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_smart_iii_975-5464.php

It's €59.00 but you can have it €20 chepar if you move number (+ €20 from Fatcheese).

This .. They shouldn't even be called phones
I found the dummy phones to work better than these phones

I have 2 in my drawer that are a reminder to think before I buy ...
