Filters, fine meshes and then that box of hydraulic tricks that's on the side - open and clean, though usually if it's manky the power steering is the first thing to go as it works by bleeding off a small bit of pressurised oil through a very small and blockable apeture, (afair) though maybe not on this model. After that you're into the control levers and then the pump/pipeworks. That's just top of me head stuff as I havn't been near one(CiH) in years. Someone else might have specifics.

check the position of the three way valve handle hasn't been moved, also check the shaft from the crankshaft pulley is still driving the hyd pump as the splines can wear through giving probs like yours.

Not sure where your getting your information from but the power steering is a totally separate system to the hydraulics on a 1394.

Could well be, some of them use a pressure bleed-off from the main system that clogs easily, I just thought I'd throw that into the scattergun approach to fixing a problem on a yoke I have never laid spanner on.

Also no-one ever bothers answering these sort of questions but whenever I post somthing (usually wildly off and wrong :D ) someone knowledgeable always comes on to contradict me and give the correct answer. It's a round-about way of doing things but it does seem to work. And you know what they say about the end justifying the means. I'm like a catalyst. :D

How is the PTO not working? Can't engage it / no drive / no power?

probably no harm to change the filter, did you check the shaft from the crankshaft pulley is still driving the hyd pump?
