Calendar farming

    Some morning here and week promised dry and mild,a half bag of urea or some slurry would keep thing stocking along nicely if we could spread.feckin calendar farming.measured a growth rate for last week of 12 unreal for time of year.we weren't getting that last march or at times in April.

    Big Phils office got back to my local TD very quickly, an extension of the slurry spreading dates will not be contemplated because the EU will immeadiately raise concerns aout on-farm storage capacity and they just don't want to go there. IMO that's a bit of a cop-out but that's what the response was.

    What submissions have the IFA made in this regard?
