Thanks Op, just wondering do you use parcel motel for delivery or do they deliver to ROI?

Use parcel motel and a northern irish address.
Body shop has an irish website which is probably why they won't post to ireland

I couldn#t use the site last night as my billing address was different to my shipping address ie Parcel motel how did ye get around this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 791 ✭✭✭viv2

There was a huge thread a while ago about the body shop and parcel motel. You will probably have to talk to bodyshop through the live chat and get them to adjust your account to allow delivery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8 hippychick1011

You can use live chat PC or laptop. Offer ends this evening I think x

How are people getting around the postcode on the billing address section?

They don't deliver to Ireland, so you need to put in a UK address. Use Parcel Motel.

Cheers, but unfortunately the 4 zero's won't work for me....ah well

Try 5 zeros, 00000. It worked for me a few weeks' back. As said above, there was a huge thread on the Body Shop in October so look there if you're stuck.

If you are having problems you need to contact body shop through the live chat section.

It's probably in plain sight but I can't for the life of me find the live chat...

    I'd say they're offline.

I got the shopping basket packed and it won't let me add Parcel Motel as a delivery address. They do seem to have added some custom items to their country picklist/dropdown though.

I've just bought stuff ☺️, again. (Thanks op for telling us about 50% off & free vit e cream with £10 order). Register and they'll remember your billing address, with all five zeros. I still have to put in my parcel motel address but once you put bt36 4pe in the look up address box, it'll find the nightline depot (parcel motel) and just remember to move the 1a down to the McKinney Road line, and put your PM number in its place. My card worked fine. Maybe registering is the key?

I really don't like this website. Saved some stuff in my shopping bag last night and waited til this morning to contact support to help put through the order. This morning; shopping cart empty and no sign of live chat.

My order finally went through after I emailed them. They told me that it's a fraud protection mechanism so the lifted that and said change my billing country to UK in the address book. The order went through no problem after that though I did miss out on a specific gift set so had to pay a little more for separates.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 242 ✭✭Kevcol

As a matter of interest, how long ago did you email them. I emailed them Tuesday and Wednesday so waiting for a reply too.

It was Monday night so they seem to be on a backlog.

Same thing happened to me, 3 days days no reply from them and no sign of my money back!!

Thanks to OP for this offer and to others for help with using the site.

£5 for their 100ml Hemp hand protector cream instead of €16.95 in Irish shops is great.

As suggested I registered using my Irish address as the billing address and 00000 as postcode then used my parcel motel NI address as delivery address with my PMID on the first line and all went well so far.

Hopefully all will be delivered and in one package.

Just placed an order, told me it payment declined, so I ordered again, with a different card, and it said payment declined. Just logged into internet banking and payment was taken off the second card, but no word on the first card.

Second card was an AIB debit, so AIB show pending transactions, the other one (PTSB) doesn't so will have to ring them in the morning.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,613 ✭✭✭Toast4532

On the phone to them for the past hour almost and all I get is music playing. No humans, no automated services etc, just music. Not happy at all over this.

I tried placing order yesterday and card was declined then tried again and order went through ,but checked account now and have been charged twice :mad:but only received order for 1 set of goods so will I get refund on second charge????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 240 ✭✭robz18

Same story here, order was declined, now have a pending transaction from them...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,613 ✭✭✭Toast4532

I phoned them about six times this morning and couldn't get an answer at all.

I have just sent them a message on Facebook, so hopefully will have a response soon.

Maybe if others messaged them or posted on their wall, they might respond quicker?

I mentioned in my message to them this morning that there is pending transactions for them on my online banking and they said this in their reply to me.
If the order didn't go through the money would only be reserved and should go back into the account ^RS

However, I have no idea if my orders actually went through, or not. I didn't get an confirmation orders from them, so I am unsure, although I am hoping they didn't. There is almost €70 on hold for them, so I hope it either refunded or unreserved soon.

This happened me the first time I tried placing an order with them. If you haven't received a confirmation email then it didn't go through. think it took the full 7 days for the money to be refunded back to my card it was only €15 so I wasn't too bothered about waiting. If you get onto them again they should be able to tell you how to get the funds released quicker. Can't quite remember the ins and outs but it involved them sending a fax to the bank stating that the order is cancelled and funds can be released back to you.

Thanks so much for your help. I will ask them to do this and see if I can get the money released quicker.

I finally made a successful transaction. Make sure you change your billing address to your own, but use the Parcel Motel postcode. Seems to work. Used Quidco.com, got the reward card for half price, 50% off and a free gift. Now to free up those pending transactions.
