    Hello,

Does anyone know if BOI have done away with the €11.40 per quarter for 90 transactions for Current Account Fees?

Was on it before but got latest statement for fees and it's 20c per transaction or so plus €5 a/c maintenance. Didn't hear anything about this change

    Ta.

Yes they have, and what you were charged is their new structure.

    Hi ChuckProphet,

    Thanks for your post.

A new fee structure was introduced from the start of the fee quarter, which began on the 19/08/2013.  This replaces the old 'Flat Fee' structure. Customers were informed of this change in June by way of email, letters, Press notification, interrupt messages on Bank of Ireland 365online, in branch signage and through our social media channels.

All personal current account holders will now have to pay a E5 maintenance fee each quarter as well as the appropriate transaction fee. For full details of this fee structure, please see here.

And also please see here for useful tips on how you can reduce or avoid fees on your current account.

If we can help with anything else, please let us know.

    Elaine
