New to dating..advice needed

This is a bit embarrassing but I am not really sure where to go to ask advice.

Im a few months out of a super long term relationship, almost 10 years. It's fully over, amicable, but no chance of getting back together and that is fine. It had been ending for a while, so in a way it seems like we have been broken up longer.

Basically I spent all my 20's in this relationship, and previous to that had one other relationship, for a year. No 'dating' as was friends with each guy for a while before.

However I went on a first date at the weekend with a guy I met online. Normal enough, but I am clueless as to what is 'normal'? He asked for a second date and my number, so I said yes, as I would. A second guy from the online world also wants a date, which I said yes to, but (and this sounds pure daft but please bear with me, I have zero experience) I feel so weird going on dates with two or maybe even three different guys in a week? This is normal though right for 'dating'?

Please assure me, I'm feel like such a rookie but am trying to juts enjoy the dates without feeling pressure! It's a whole new world for me, and also is it ok to juts enjoy dating for a while without any commitment?

    Any advice appreciated.

Of course it's ok to just enjoy the dates for what they are. As for dating a few people at the same time, I'm pretty sure what everybody does on these things until they both decide to make it exclusive. So just relax and have fun:-)

OP there is no 'normal' in the dating world. Its perfectly okay to go out with a few people at the same time. If and when you get a bit more serious with one of them then it's time to have the 'exclusive' chat. Until then - enjoy!!

My own opinion would be its ok to meet up with several men from a dating site but as soon as there is a spark with one I think its only courteous to stop seeing the others.

If it was me Id prefer to see how one guy pans out before starting off with another. It has the potential to get complicated if you continue going on dates with them both. Realistically you would know after meeting them two or three times if your interested, so it would be easy enough to wait to see how one goes before agreeing to date another.

That's just my two cents though. Each to their own in the dating world!

Of course it is! And unless you're a serial monogamist I am sure you don't want to get tied down into another relationship when you're just out of such a long one! Go and enjoy the dates and as long as you don't mislead anyone, you can go on as many dates as you like! If you feel that one is morphing into a relationship then I don't think it's fair to continue on seeing lots of people but for now I'd just go and enjoy yourself.
