    Never heard of them.

    Where are they based?

What have they done to look after the customer?

Probably would have been a lot fairer to actually try and deal with them first before you came onto a public forum to announce that one of their cars has broken down...

They have done nothing yet, car only broke down this morning, so it will be tomorrow before the in laws, speak to them. This could have a happy ending which I will of course post about (always willing to promote company's with good customer service). They are based by the red cow in Dublin and I only asked be caused I can't find anything about how they treat their customers online either good or bad. There are some cowboys out there and it is always goodto know how a complaint is going to be received.

Hope everything works out well. The majority of Dealers are fine to do business with, just the few cowboys make it difficult for everyone.

Looking forward to you reporting good news tomorrow:)

Possibly the reason you cannot find out anything about them is because they are only in business at that location a few months. The owner, who I have dealt with over the years, was previously in a smaller location up the road in Clondalkin. I've never had any issues with them.

Thanks, I thought that, found other company (a&r motors ) and found nothing on them either. Again a good sign but you know how people panic!!!

Well the car is in cork at the moment were it broke down, the garage it was towed to recon its a big job (engine f**ked) but the good news is Mannix Motors is going to take care of it and have supplied a temporary car!!!!! Definitely good customer service so far let's hope the repair job is off a good standard and they don't cut corners. Can't see much of the profit they made in the sale of the car been left after repair and transport to dublin.

Well done! Fair play to the Dealer. That is what good service is about. The warranty obviously covers the engine. :)

Its a good outcome alright, so far be interested to see if it all changes when they get a look at the engine themselves, like I said there won't be much in the way of profit left if it is a big job. Fair play to them so far though looks like we've found a car dealer that puts the customer first. Many thanks delthedriver.

    DM1979,
You are very welcome! The dealer's approach is certainly very refreshing and commendable.
Depending on what needs to be done to the existing engine and costs involved, a replacement engine may well be the best solution.:)
