Probably doesn't want to OC it straight off the bad, but would like to have the option of doing so.

Got it in one, at the moment it doesn't take much to run the games I will be playing but in the future they will be upping specs. Main thing I want is to try future proof the PC as much as possible, as I got badly burned when I tried to install new stuff in to my old dell desktop. Learned my lesson the hard way there. Other reason I want liquid cooling is to try reduce noise levels as much as I can.

Right now I think I found a good deal with these specs:
Processor: AMD FX-8350 Eight Core CPU (4.00GHz/8MB CACHE/AM3+)

    Motherboard: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 (DDR3, USB3.0, 6Gb/s,CrossFireX/SLI)

    Memory (RAM): 16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (2 x 8GB KIT)

Graphics Card: 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770

    1st Hard Disk: 120GB KINGSTON HYPERX 3K SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 555MB/sR | 510MB/sW)

    2nd Hard Disk: 1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE

    DVD/BLU-RAY Drive: 8x BLU-RAY ROM DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW

Power Supply: CORSAIR 650W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ MODULAR TXM-650 V2-80 PLUS

Cooling: CoolerMaster Seidon 120V High Performance CPU Cooler

Sound Card: Asus Xonar DG 5.1 SoundCard & Headphone AMP

That will cost me 1300ish built in shop.

What shop? Did up an I7 build for that price built and delivered. No offense to AMD but I7 eats it for breakfast.

Thats a complete and utter rip off. You don't need 16GB of Ram. Pick your own case, only have merc alpha in it

    Item|Price
    WD Blue 1TB 6Gb's|€51.27
    8GB-Kit G.Skill PC3-10667U CL9|€62.51
    BitFenix Merc Alpha|€32.93
Corsair CX Series Modular CX500M, 500W|€59.34
    Intel Core i5-4670K Box, LGA1150|€205.56
Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB SATA 6Gb/s|€84.99
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD|€28.68
    ASRock Z87 Extreme3, Sockel 1150, ATX|€108.14
    MSI N770 Twinfrozr 2GD5/OC, 2GB DDR5|€287.95
    Shipping|€18.99
    Total|€940.36

and one for around 1500 with the probably the best graphics card available. Have Merc Alpha in there but pick your own case

the shop i did that build on was PC specialist, was recommended to me by a friend who said he had great service from them and cheap all though looking at your builds the latter isn't really true. I think I'll poke about hardwareversand using your builds as reference.

Thank you all very much for your help, more than likely saved me a fortune and from making a few detrimental mistakes.
