Christmas pay date?

    Hi, secondary teacher here- I'm just wondering would anyone here have any idea of when we'll be paid over Christmas? We're getting paid this Thursday (12th) and so the next would be due on 24th but that's Christmas Eve- do we get paid that day anyway or are banks shut and so we get paid on 23rd instead?

    Just trying to plan stuff for Christmas so it'd be handy to know! I can ring the dept and ask but just said I'd check here first. Thanks!

    Yes, getting paid the 23rd and them the 9th of Jan. Have confirmed with payroll.

    Thanks a million, good to know that. Also I should have said that we were due to be paid on the 26th, not the 24th, oops! It was a late post! :)
