Hi, hoping to do my Category C in the new year, currently doing the theory test, What reverse manoeuvre is used in the C test?

Just wondering, if I pass the test and have time left on my learner permit e.g. 6 months, can I get a category EC learner permit for the remaining 6 months at no extra cost?

Also, if I pass can I add my Category C to my licence when I am renewing it, therefore avoiding the 35 euro fee for adding categories? Its all ways to get money out of you!!!!

    Thanks in advance!

Each change will cost you and now they're expecting a new medical for the full licence, mad.

I had to do revesing around the corner - both left and right. In the town.

You won't be able to add CE (it's not called CE not EC anymore) to your learner permit without honding full licence in C.
And to hold a full C category licence, you will have to submit your C driving permit.
So in short answer is no. You will have to pay for another driving permit for CE category.

I think you can. But remember that you can only renew your licence 3 months before it's expiry date.
