    Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone noticed the new wind turbine put up today down towards the back strand?

I saw a few more poles so not sure if there's more to go up, they look pretty nice though.

I'm sure they will generate a bit of electricity as there is always a strong breeze off the sea.

    Anyone have any idea?

While they are no work of art such as lump of metals on the steps , they are generating energy that would probably come from fossil fuels .
I hope there's more as it focuses peoples
Mindset and shows tramore to be a forward looking town

Couldn't agree more, I think they look awesome, don't see how they are an eyesore and its green energy which we will have to eventually resort to.
