    Hey guys/girls!

Just wondering if there was anyone here interesting in playing a flag football game in the South Dublin area tomorrow (Sat, 7th of Dec). No worries if you don't think your fit enough or know enough of the rules because we have newcomers playing tomorrow too so you won't be the only new person there and we have players of all different sizes and fitness levels playing too :) We'll start playing about 1/1:30pm

We have all the flags and equipment and the pitch is Kilbogget Park which is on the 145 route. There is literally a stop right at the entrance to the park. Here's a link to a map:

Let me know on facebook if you are interested in playing: http://facebook.com/jody.sinclair91

    Cheers,

    Jody

Are you guys planning on doing this as a regular thing? Sorry I missed this post, I'm in Bray and would have loved a game, I've got a mate in Cabinteely who would definitely be interested too.

How did it go on Sat? Many numbers?

    Hey man,

Yeah we've been doing it on/off for two years now. It used to be once a week but now it's about once a month because numbers have dropped a fair bit due to a lot of the lads joining full contact teams. We had a 4v4 game on Saturday. It was great. It's pretty much the minimum you can play a match with but it works really well if you just narrow the pitch a little bit. Definitely come along to the next one anyway and bring anyone you want. We organise everything through a group on facebook:

Join it so you can stay in the loop. :)

Do you know that the IAFA are looking at starting a full time flag league.

Yeah I think there actually might already be one. Might be the same one you're talking about? We've played in a few tournaments which are good fun.

Next game we're playing is on Saturday, 11th of January. Same place, same time. All welcome!
