Hi just installed the above piriform ccleaner and under file finded options it searches for duplicate files. In some cases the file count is 3 or 4 but in the rest it is 2 , is it safe to select one from each and delete ? Cheers in advance

That completely depends on the files...

Simple data files like photos, mp3, videos etc, can be deleted as long as you know which folder you want the remaining "copy" to be left in.

Other files, program executables, Windows DLL files etc... would depend on where the owning program expects them to be.
