    Hi All

Pick up my new Superb 5 weeks ago and love it except for 1 thing.... the fuel tank only holds 50ltrs now for your average driver thats fine but i have almost 9000kms on the car and im filling up every 2 days

I also notice that when you fill up it stays full for 300 or so kms but once it hits just under half full it drops like a stone. My previous car was a mondeo and when the fuel light came on i could get 65/67 ltrs in on a fill.

Is there a pressure release valve on these my brother had a golf and he was able to get in an extra 10/15 ltrs by letting the air out... any ideas ?

Are you sure? Thought they were 70l? Unless the greenline have smaller tanks or something?

How low are you letting it go before refilling?

i have the 2.L 140bhp superb estate, & yes 52 ltrs is max you get with circa 900+ km. Less weight more economical

I would have assumed it was much larger on a car like that, especially one aimed at business users. Seems it's a common complaint:

Octavia is 50 litre which is very small so the suberb must be 55 litres I thought it was bigger than that too.
