Adjusting to new lenses

I had my eyes tested a few weeks back. Apparently, they deteriorated quite a bit as it was a few years since I had them tested before.

Now, I have my new glasses and one lens is very blurry. It is getting clearer. But still not what it should be. How long does it usually take for an eye to adjust to new stronger prescription? I have been wearing them for almost 2 weeks now.

It usually takes about two weeks to fully adapt to the new prescription.

You should return to the optometrist who tested you and ask if they would have anticipated such a long adaptation time. Maybe they would recheck the result for you as well. (This is done without a charge)
