Hi guys, just wondering, if I fail a module in my LLB and need to repeat in August, does that automatically disqualify me from sitting the Entrance Exams for Kings Inns that August, because I won't have passed my degree yet? I know they require you to have passed all the required modules, but can you still sit the exam on the condition you will have passed the repeat, then be allowed in? Thanks for the help.

I think you can enter a conditional application to sit the KI exams. If you fail you might lose the deposit though. The best thing to do is o call the KI reception and ask them.

I know coming from the Diploma in the King's Inns you weren't allowed sit them unless you had completed the Diploma in full - if you failed you missed the year.

I would imagine the Entrance exams are similar -check though, obviously, it might depend on what subject you failed.

Hi and thanks for the replies. My uncle did the Diploma as well and had to wait the year so I'm pretty sure am in the same boat. Might be for the best, I'll get the year to ready myself for the Entrance Exams. I'm only 22 (23 by the Summer) so from what I've seen, people seem to think that is quite young for Kings Inns.

Info I have is you have to have a clean transcript - any more info would be welcomed as this year is not going well.
