    as a matter of interest do guys close the dividing gates between pens in the shed or let the cows have the run off the shed until calving,

    was just wondering, the more room they have the more potential for jostling and bullying which could cause a cow to abort or would same be said off a confined space (enclosed pen) and less room for cow to escape

    If they are used of each other I would say give them as much space as possible, those suck cows are big old wagons. If they are new to each other reduce the area to as small as possible until they get to know each other
