WWE TLC 2013 PPV Pre Show Thread

Surprised there hasn't been one made so far seeing as we already have 5-yes 5!-matches on the card

Unifcation TLC Match for both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton (WWE Champion) vs John Cena (World Heavyweight Championship)

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Big E Langston (c) vs Damien Sandow

WWE Divas Title Match
AJ Lee (c) vs Natalya

3-on-1 Handicap Match
CM Punk vs The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns)

3-on-1 Handicap Match
Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatts (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Eric Rowan)

Shaping up to be a good card actually! I know people are complaining about Orton Cena but sure the rest of the card looks good! Other matches to be added will most likely be a Triple-Threat (or Fatal 4-Way) TLC match (hopefully) for the Tag Titles between The Rhodes, Ryback and Axel and The Real Americans (maybe the Usos as a fourth team). Miz vs Kofi Kingston also looks like a shoe-in.

Could be just me, but the 3 on 1 handicaps just seem stupid. The Shield in particular don't need to be painted as if it should take 3 of them to take Punk (or even Lesnar). Those sort of matches should be saved for 3MB vs Henry and the likes.

I'd expect a swerve. The card might be modified at the last moment. Daniel Bryan might lie down for the Wyatts and join them. A member of the Shield might turn face and join Punk to make it 2 on 2. The Wyatts match will likely be 2 on 1 if that is any consolation. Bray will likely be sitting in his rocking chair.

I think Punk might win, we may get a breakdown in communications between The Shield and Punk sneaks a victory and it may be the start of The Shield breaking up.

Wyatts have to beat Bryan if they want to get any sort of serious heat on them.

Cant see the tag title match being anything other than a regular 2 vs 2 for Ryback and Axel. Real American's push seems to have gone nowhere.

The booking of AJ the past few weeks has killed any interest the Divas were starting to build. Having the champion lose in two and three moves for several weeks makes her look like crap. When the champion looks like crap, the division looks like crap. Her losing is fine, it's losing in two or three moves that is the problem.

Which would be the single dumbest thing they could do at this point in time. He is by far and away the most popular guy they have, why on earth would they want to turn him heel and join a jobber stable? Not having a go at you, I've seen similar things suggested for the past few weeks now. I'm having a go at the idea in general. Stephanie McMahon turning babyface and winning both titles in the main event would be better than turning Bryan.

I'm not saying that it would be a good idea but simply imagine the heat that it would generate. It would piss off all of us "Wrestling Nerds" as HHH likes to call us. If done right, it would elevate the Wyatts. And if nothing else, they could run an arc that culminates at Wrestlemania.

Any of this could be done without requiring matches that by their very essence make these stables look super weak.

Again,I think its a good chance he will win, he loses **** all these days.

trips v Punk was cack last time round, way to many insider promos and match was average.

I've watched Raw for the past few weeks and I can't remember much of anything about the Diva's matches except fot AJ skipping around the ring during her match this week,and then not looking too bothered that she had lost,which isn't a great way to enhance the basic importance of winners and losers in wrestling matches.

I think the divisions only real purpose these days is for footage for use in and enhancing silly storylines in Total Divas,which is probably fair enough.

Was reading, maybe here or on ign that it's like AJ is being punished for fainting and AJ's reacting by not making a big deal out of her losses when she would usually be going mad. This could also be the reason for her skipping all night since she knew she was to be pinned, she just didn't give a crap about the match.

Sorry Liz, it's just the E actually seems to be building up a PPV and matches for once! I thought it needed the thread! I see Punk and Bryan taking on the Authority with either Punk or Bryan winning the Rumble and the other facing HHH at WM 30

John Cena will set a precedent by winning the Royal Rumble while already unified champion, doing all of this despite suffering from 2 broken legs, followed by regular Raw vignettes of his workout problem and the hard work that made it all possible.

Along with Orton vs Cena we really are in a time warp. It'd be two years after they should've done it (after H & Nash tried to kill the Summer of Punk). Add Del Rio vs Mysterio for good measure.

Yes I remember those days. Remember the pop of the crowd when he knocked Triple H the F-out? Remember the pop he got when he came down through the crowd, beat down Ambrose and Rollins outside the ring, and knocked out Reigns?

Seems like so long ago now.

Doubtful but Big Show could interfere in BOTH of the 3-1 handicap matches, giving wins for Punk and Bryan, seems like a good way to pi$$ off Trips.

I definitely do not want to see Bryan or Punk winning clean on Sunday.

Punk will win and the Shield will either break up or be on the verge of it I reckon(not how i'd do it but thats my opinion). Bryan will get beat but i'd love if he ran through them quicker than DX with the Spirit Squad.

Everyone is staying up now:

Brodus Clay & Tensai vs. R-Truth and Xavier Woods is expected to be added to the WWE TLC PPV tonight, according to one source.

PWInsider.com has not been able to confirm, but Tensai teased on Twitter that he would be wrestling on tonight's PPV and they are obviously building to something with Clay, so this may be where it happens.

Ironically, had this been on Box Office I actually would have bought it. Streamed both HIAC and Survivor Series because they just didn't have me interested, whereas Wyatt's vs Daniel Bryan, Punk vs The Shield and Cena vs Orton all have me very curious. Can't wait to watch it!
