Moisturiser & Foundation recommendations

Since getting pregnant my skin has gone awful. Before I had really good skin so never needed to worry about it much, just used Nivea/Simple (whatever was on offer in boots :P) for moisturiser.

Now, I'm breaking out a lot, around my chin especially. But my skin feels quite dry everywhere else. Plus now I'm a bit older (late 20's) I think its time to up the game a bit.

I'm useless with this stuff, can anyone even point me in the direction of which brand I should go for? Cleanser, moisturiser, serum, eye cream?

Also, my make up is just sliding off my face. I was using Estee Lauder double wear light (DW is way to heavy for me for everyday) with a Mac powder over, then tried Mac Studio Fix and now I'm on Make Up Forever HD. None are working!

    Would really appreciate any recommedations!
    Thanks :)

For moisturiser I swear by Olay Complete Care Beauty Fluid for sensitive skin. I have dry skin but it can be tempermental and any other moisturisers are too heavy for my skin. This absorbs really well and acts as a foundation base. I use the corresponding night cream.

The moisurisers you're using could be what's affecting your foundation, but in any case I would maybe try something lighter? There's a good one out by Revlon at the mo, I think it's called Naked Skin. I have it and wear it to work but the name has worn off the bottle :P In saying that I also use Double Wear and Studio Fix without issue so I don't know if it will suit your skin. Go into one of the big department stores and get some samples of different things to see what sits well for you.

Breaking out around your mouth/chin is hormonal unfortunately!! You'll just have to wait that out but hopefully it'll settle down for you soon.

Try the sanctuary moisturiser in the blue bottle. I had exactly same issue as you and that with their face mask cleared it right up. The also have a scrub in the blue range which I used every other day only on the affected areas. Really nice stuff!

I use the clay one in the grey packet for my tzone and the green moisturising one on my cheeks and neck. If you get the sachets you get at least 3-4 uses out of each one so they're great value. Often on 3for2 in boots also :-)
