Coolmore have purchased Group 1 juvenile filly winner Rosdhu Queen (by Invincible Spirit) for 2,100,000gns.

The bidding opened at 500,000gns, spiralled quickly through to 1.2 million guineas when Rory Matthews of Barouche Stud shook his head, leaving John Warren and Stephen Hillen to slog it out to 2.1 million.

Warren took the 2 million bid, but Hillen, armed with bigger weapons, went to 2.1 million and brought about an end to the fight.

"She's been bought for Coolmore," said Hillen, "I should imagine she is going to be one for Galileo. She is a beautiful filly, a great physical. She is by Invincible Spirit who is doing so well, she is by a Group 1-winning sprinter and won her Group 1 as a two-year-old - you don't get many of those coming onto the market."

There are £1.05 in 1 guinea. So you would have to convert it to pounds and do the relevant conversion depending on currency exchange.

I would say the user above is close enough to the correct answer. Looks about right anyway.
