Hi all myself and the other half have been together for 16 years, (not married yet have lived together for 15 years) we have 3 kids all under 10 and I am a stay at home mum for the past 3 years. My question is this, can he claim my tax credits? We have been told he can by friends but when I looked it up I couldn't see how. Many thanks for the help!

No. Unless you are married or in civil partnership and you opt for joint assessment.
