Hi there, hopefully someone out there can help me..

Looking to buy a new television maybe flatscreen 40"

My question is - is it possible to get a TV with inbuild dvd player & inbuilt saorview?

Also, what model/make would you recommend?

    Many thanks

Inbuilt Saorview - yes. Virtually all TVs sold in Ireland should be Saorview approved these days but ask the retailer to be sure.

Inbuilt DVD player - I doubt it, a combi device is typically intended for the bedroom where a 40" TV would probably be too big. I just did a quick check on Amazon and 32" is the largest combi they sell.

Toshiba have 1 on the Saorview approved list: 40D1333B. Doubt there are any others at that screen size.

DVD players are old technology now. Most media on TV's are watched through the USB port.

If you get one it will prob be an old model
