Lima Golf

Hi does anyone have any experience (good or bad) of dealing with this garage? I'm thinking of going to have a look at a car there but it's a 3 hour drive from me so don't want to hit the road if they're dodgeballs! Their website doesn't tell me much about them, how long they're in business etc. I appreciate any replies.

Bought a 08 mondeo off them around christmas last year and had no issues dealing with them for that...had similar concerns as yourself when i was buying from them but didn't find anything bad said about them and they ended up being fine to buy off. Didn't have any dealings with them after buying the car as it ended up getting stolen a couple of months later so can't comment on any warrranty issues etc. but purely on just buying the car they were grand.

Thanks lotsoftens. There's very little about them online so it makes me think they are relatively new.

Not sure if you bought a car in the end from him but I would advise to stay away. There is a reason there is not much online.

As far as I know they have been there for years. Just may not be fully online.

He has been around for years alright, I would stay away and look elsewhere.

I did buy a car from them. Have had no issues and no reason to call back to them. I'm happy with the car but can't comment on after sales service. I did send a pm to the poster above saying to stay away but he never replied.

hi Lima Golf. what warranty do they give with their cars? thinking of looking at something with them soon

They've been on North Street Swords since the early 90's and I've bought 3 cars from them and had no problems at all with them. I doubt they could have lasted that long if they were cowboys. They're also a Mitsubishi dealer and sell new models from that marque.

Is it not Castlerock motors that used to be Mitsubishi dealers?

Apologies I thought that's what the OP was talking about. Don't know of any dealer called Castle motors in Swords. I haven't been down North Street in a while but was sure they're still there as Mitsubishi dealers ?

This is from 2013 so I guess it's possible they changed since. Google Street View North Street, Swords.

They've been there for almost 30 years. Well established. I've bought 2 cars from them in the past and never had a problem with them.
