I was wondering if you apply for the scheme and you're approved, do you immediately lose your full payment, or remain on full benefit and notify the Department when taking up employment so the reduced payment kicks in then?

My reading of the guidelines is that if you apply for this 'Benefit' and are awarded it, be it at the same rate or lower rate than you currently get, as you have to pass a medical, then you will just transfer to it immediately.

Then its up to you to job seek in your own time.

Others may be able to confirm if this is right.
