Colour scheme

    Hellllp ;) im after getting a new kitchen, but im at a complete loss of what colour tiles for floor and wall to use, im also stuck on a colour for paint in dining room anyone any tips for me, anything but white,

    Ive ben looking for two weeks now in tile shops and online n im lost please help ;)

    For the floor I'd probably go with something light as your cupboards are quite dark - are they black...It's hard to tell from the photo.

    For the backsplash I'd look at maybe a turquoisey colour for a pop of colour.

    I should ad, I had the kitchen before I just knocked down some walls, and added an island and extra presses and space, I had white tiles on walls and really light grey on floor, but they were nightmare to clean,

    Sorry yes the doors are black and counter is grey/silver

    I agree, white tiles are a pain to keep clean, but I'd rather a light, bright area that I need to mop more often then a dark, dreary area where everything blends into one.

    Yeah true, the kitchen does have two large windows and double glass sliding doors, so there's plenty of light, but do you think cream tiles would be ok

    On the floor? Yeah, I think they would look ok. You need to bring some samples home and lay them down to see what it looks like. I find taking photos and then looking at the photos helps as you can directly compare.
