    Ok I know absolutely nothing about gaming but have two teenage sons who love it. My question I don't know if makes sense or not, if I bought games from America for the X-Box would they work ok over here? Is there a difference?

    Which xbox?
    Xbox 360, they might work, depending on the game.
    Xbox 1, they will work.

    Have you a specific game in mind? There's a few lists online of region free games. On that list for example, American games are marked as NTSC/U and you want them to work with European - PAL.
