    Hi,

My XPS 710 h2c system has just given up the ghost an I'm looking to build a system to keep gaming but on a budget of €500.

I have parts from the 710 system including a fairly new SSD and a 1TB hard drive. I also have a hd monitor, keyboard, mouse and wireless N network card.

I don't know whether to keep the dual 8800gtx cards & just build around them or forget them since they're only DX9 capable.

So I'm throwing it out there, other than the parts I've mentioned I need to build from scratch and suggestions on a system spec and best value suppliers.

If the system is OC capable that would be great but not a requirement and of course future options to upgrade are desirable.

    Looking forward to suggestions,
    Rory

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? No help needed... I hope 8-)

Something like this should do the trick:
    Item|Price
    Sharkoon WPM500|€45.44
AMD FX-6300 Prozessor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+|€97.53
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD|€28.67
    8GB-Kit Team Group Elite Series, DDR3-1600, CL11|€62.91
Cooler Master N200 mit Sichtfenster, mATX-mini-Tower, schwarz, ohne Netzteil|€41.49
    ASRock 960GC-GS FX, Sockel AM3+, mATX|€42.63
    Shipping|€18.99
Total|€337.66Put that through geizhals and you can save a few euro more!!

Would go for this gpu from Pixmania at the moment it's near ridiculous value if you get the Sapphire Dual-X like most people get!! 5% off with 3DIT code too.

With the money saved with geizhals you could probably go for a better gpu or go for an atx case.

Can anyone enlighten me as to the story on the GPU from pixmania? Are people being shipped a superior item to the one shown?

I bought one a few weeks ago, got a sapphire 7870 dual x.
I don't think pixmania are doing the never settle thing though, in case you were looking for that
